Corey Pronman – The Athletic – June 10th: “When he was healthy, he excited a lot of teams due to his athletic tools. He moves very well for a big defenseman, and he’s a right-shot as well. He closes on checks well due to his range and length, and is physical, too.”
Scott Wheeler – The Athletic – June 2nd: “I’ve seen him play games where he struggled with his reads and got burned, and games where he pushes people around physically, gets a lot of stops, and shows enough of a puck game to look really projectable up levels. When he surfs into opponents, he completely erases the middle and then crushes the opponent into the wall. He clears the front of the net with vitriol and then gets play moving the other way. He fakes forecheckers with his edges, then looks into or across the middle for a high-value breakout play.
