The Toronto Maple Leafs prospects won game two of two over the weekend versus the Montreal Canadiens prospects. Maple Leafs prospects won 5-4 with Easton Cowan scoring a late third period power play goal for the win.
Overall the Maple Leafs prospects played well. Of note Topi Niemela recorded 5 assists over the weekend. All three goalies looked good. Dennis Hildeby played the full 60 minutes in the first game. Artur Akhtyamov and Vyacheslav Peksa split the second game both playing thirty minutes each.
