The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the club has acquired forward Denis Malgin from the Florida Panthers in exchange for forward Mason Marchment.
Malgin, 23, has recorded 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 36 games with the Panthers this season. In 184 career regular season NHL games, the Olten, Switzerland native has collected 60 points (28 goals, 32 assists).
Malgin was selected by Florida in the fourth round (102nd overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
