Maple Leafs defeat Bruins on Rielly OT goal after blowing lead

Morgan Rielly scored his second goal of the night with 1:06 remaining in overtime to give the Toronto Maple Leafs a 4-3 win against the Boston Bruins at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday.
David Pastrnak tied the game 3-3 for Boston with 4:26 remaining in the third period when he one-timed a pass from Patrice Bergeron at the top of the left face-off circle.
Dmytro Timashov and Alexander Kerfoot scored, and Frederik Andersen made 42 saves for the Maple Leafs (5-3-1), who have won three of four following a three-game losing streak.
Jake DeBrusk and Danton Heinen scored, and Halak made 25 saves for the Bruins (5-1-2), who are 2-1-2 in their past five games.
Rielly gave the Maple Leafs a 1-0 lead at 5:55 of the first period when his point shot went in off Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo in the slot.
Timashov made it 2-0 at 15:44 when he shot past Halak’s glove from the slot for his first NHL goal.
DeBrusk cut the lead to 2-1 with 21 seconds left in the first when he one-timed a pass from Charlie Coyle from behind the net in the slot.
Boston outshot Toronto 15-3 in the second period, but neither team scored.
Heinen tied it 2-2 at 1:36 of the third when he shot past a sprawling Andersen from the right face-off dot on the power play.
Kerfoot put the Maple Leafs up 3-2 at 2:37 when he jammed in the rebound of Jake Muzzin’s point shot.
Toronto forward Andreas Johnsson left the game at 15:29 of the second period with a leg injury after he blocked a shot.
