The San Jose Sharks have traded defenseman Douglas Murray to the Pittsburgh Penguins for 2013 and 2014 second round draft pick. The 2014 second round pick is conditional on Murray re-signing with the Penguins.
The 33-year Murray will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. He carries a $2.5 million salary cap hit this season.
He was drafted by the Sharks in 1999, 241st overall in the 8th round.
